16 FREE Workshops at Verge 2013!
All free workshops are NOW FULL!
On March 1 & 2, between Main Sessions at Verge 2013, there will be several FREE, hands-on, interactive workshops with network leaders. You will have access to seasoned missional thinkers and practitioners in an intimate, smaller group setting at a Network House/Suite, each a short walk or 2-3 minute drive to the Main Conference venue.
Because most of these workshops are in homes and intentionally smaller to give you the greatest opportunity for connection, there will be VERY limited space.
These workshops are free to all conference attendees and reserved on a first come basis. If you would like to take part in any of these Network House workshops you must register beforehand.
During each of these workshops, we will also be holding a Main Stage workshop as well. If you do not wish to attend one of these Network House workshops, you won’t be left out!

Art of Storytelling: Empowering Kingdom Artists in the Local Church

Kingdom Artist, do you have the gift of storytelling, writing, photography, and filmmaking, but don’t know how or where to use your gifts for kingdom purposes?
In this intimate workshop setting, learn from the Austin Stone Story Team, a community of artists who use creative storytelling to glorify the name and purpose of Jesus, encourage the saints and compel all people to gospel action, as they cast vision and share practical steps for ways Kingdom Artists and church leaders to work together to serve the local church through the powerful art of storytelling.
Story Team has a vision and desire to see pastors and church leaders begin to identify, empower, and entrust talented artists in their church for the purpose of creative storytelling. We also long to see Kingdom Artists empowered in the local church, using their God-given gifts to serve the church, and have a vision, a kingdom vision, that is larger than their own creative portfolio.
