Gary Haugen serves as President and CEO of International Justice Mission. IJM is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of violent oppression. IJM works with local governments to ensure victim rescue and restoration, to prosecute perpetrators and to strengthen civic factors that promote functioning public justice systems. Previously, Gary worked for the Department of Justice and served as the Officer in Charge of the U.N.’s genocide investigation in Rwanda. He is the author of the books Good News About Injustice, Just Courage, and The Locust Effect. Mr. Haugen currently resides in the Washington, DC, area with his family.
