David Montague serves as the Founder and President of the Memphis Teacher Residency. Prior to MTR, David served for two years (2005-2007) with Campus Crusade for Christ in East Asia.David, a lifetime Memphian, graduated in 1986 from Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX) with a degree in Finance. David has been married to his wife Kelli for 21 years and they have five daughters: May, Annie, Ruthie, Mary Van and Joy. David enjoys time with his family and regular bike rides.
Unequal education is an inhibitor to peace and unity and is in direct violation to the story of God in history. The Church must help to bring equality of education to all children.
Christians everywhere must share a vision of a place where people of all races and classes live together in peace and dignity under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
